A: No. We recommend coloring your hair at least 2 weeks before or after Yuko Straightening. Doing both chemical treatments at the same time can cause damage, so it’s best to space them out to protect your hair and achieve the best results.

A: If your previous straightening treatment used the same chemical, Ammonium Thioglycolate, as Yuko Straightening, you may be able to have Yuko Straightening. We recommend checking with both companies to confirm the ingredients. Even if the same chemical was used, Yuko Straightening may not work properly if your hair is severely damaged.If you only need a touch-up on your new growth, Yuko Straightening can generally be applied to the new growth .

A: No. Please wait 3-4 months after a keratin and Brazilian treatments before getting Yuko Straightening. The coating left by these treatments can prevent Yuko Straightening from working properly.
